Is Samsung desperate for customers on their high end nodes?

The last high end product that came out with Samsung was the RTX 3000 series on 8nm.
Their own Exynos 2100/2200, built on 4nm, has overheating issues.
Even the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 used in Galaxy S23 is made on TSMC.
